Registration Requirements

Registrations may take 1 - 2 days to complete.

.COM.TW:

Registrant must be a corporation registered under the Company Law or a business registered under the Commercial Entity Registration Law, or a foreign corporation registered under competent national or state laws.

Applicants should be prepared to submit photocopies of incorporation documents, business registration certificates and/or company licenses, other documents may also be requested.

.NET.TW:

Registrant must have a license for the Class 1 telecommunication enterprises, a license for network installation services or a license for the Class 2 telecommunication enterprises.

Applicants should be prepared to submit photocopies of Class 1 License for Telecommunications business, permit for instllation of networks, or Class 2 License for Telecommunications business, other documents may also be requested.

If the applicant is an academic research unit and the network would be for academic purposes, a plan on the use of the network should also be provided with the application.

.ORG.TW:

Registrant must be a foundation or non-profit organisation registered under the laws of the Republic of China; A foreign non-profit organization registered under its national, state or federal laws, with particular needs in registering a domain name under org.tw approved by the Domain Name Committee of TWNIC.

Applicants should be prepared to submit photocopies of incorporation documents, registration documents for foundations, other documents may also be requested.

.IDV.TW:

Registrant can be anybody, provided their identity has been verified via email(s).

.GAME.TW, .CLUB.TW:

No special restrictions so long as registrants identity has been verified.
